MOSHI-NOU is the story of how a sales promotion company in the ordinance-designated city tries to overcome the challenges to new businesses, and agriculture business in particular. The heroine "Chiaki"(Chucky) struggles to meet the challenges, even though she is inexperienced with farming. Together with her friends, she looks for new possibilities. MOSHI-NOU has been publicized since June 2012 as a cross media project to transmit the actual situation and problem faced by a Japanese primary industries.
Her field of cultivated land is Wadayama-cho Asago-shi, Hyogo-ken, at the foot of "Takeda-jo Castle site" (also called the emperial castle) and the home of "Nattan no meisui" selected as one of the Select Best Waters of Japan. Now we are producing Iwatsu leek which is the local specialty of Asago-shi, Tanba kurodaizu(black soybeans), and the locally-grown Koshihikari(high-quality rice) as our main produce. We promote a wide variety of sales events to utilize know-how cultivated by advertising companies. We work on not only producing and selling our crops but also opening new sales channels, consulting for managing events, dispatching staff, and suggesting and producing novelties and advertisement goods.
